I’m Kara.

I’m a graphic designer based in the DFW area. Design is fickle, but I like how it challenges me to grow and do better. I’m inspired by learning about new industries and people, and see design as a way to share that knowledge with the world.

I like to create expressive identities, especially those that incorporate movement, bold typography, and illustrative elements in their overall visual voice. While branding is my (current) favorite area of design, I like to bring that expressive detail to every design project. Be it digital, print, packaging, or beyond, I strive for clear communication through emotive systems of identity.

Additionally, I think it’s important to recognize that visuals, common perception, and designers work together to create while simultaneously changing independently. Design is always changing, and so am I, as a designer.
